We have an excellent opportunity to join a new, nationally branded animal charitable organization, reporting to the Director. In this position you will assume full responsibility for building a successful strategy to partner our non profit with national corporate giving programs.

We have a unique charitable model that delivers social benefits to the entire community. But we need corporate involvement to facilitate our programs.

This is a volunteer position ideal for someone recently out of school with the intention of creating their own career path in non profit community service; and a great resume builder.

You will:

• Develop and implement corporate fundraising strategies
• Create a pool of new corporate supporters
• Write compelling proposals that win corporate support and sponsorship
• Research new potential partnerships
• Assist planning community service programs

• Verbal and written communication skills: Be able to write a compelling letter of introduction and followup by phone or in person representing For Paws Hospice
• Research and identify: Identify corporate giving programs and make successful applications that match their funding priorities to hospice programs.
• Maintain relationships: Encourage long term partner associations by delivering consistent program results that meet or exceed corporate expectations for charitable giving.

• Degree in business or finance or equivalent experience
• Non profit experience helpful but not required
